Gate · Referral changes and account linking
Check your existing account with support before making changes. A standard Walloat rebinding procedure has not yet been confirmed.
Check your eligibility
- Ask about your account’s current referral relationship and whether the same UID can be retained.
- Gate’s global terms list South Korea among restricted locations. Confirm the applicable service and residency rules with Gate; this guide does not provide an exemption.
How to proceed
- Contact Walloat support or Gate support while keeping your existing account.
- Follow a linking procedure only after Gate confirms that it is permitted for your account and region.
WALLOATGAdditional conditions are being confirmed with the exchange. An inquiry is not an approved application.
Check the result
If Gate confirms that linking has completed, ask Walloat to verify attribution. Sending an inquiry does not change the account.
Before you proceed: No self-service link, waiting period or approval time is promised. Do not delete and recreate an account to attempt a referral change.
After the exchange confirms your connection
Register your own exchange UID with Walloat and complete attribution verification. UID registration alone does not change your referrer or confirm Payback eligibility. See the exchange benefits page for the applicable Payback conditions.
Keep your account intact while checking eligibility. Do not delete an account, transfer KYC or move funds just to follow this guide. Never share passwords, API secrets or verification codes with support.
