1. Purpose and Scope
This Partner Relationship & Compensation Disclosure explains Walloat's commercial relationships with cryptocurrency exchanges and other partners, how Walloat may receive compensation, and how partner benefits are presented through Walloat.
It applies to partner links, referral or affiliate routes, Exchange Benefits, Walloat Payback where available, exchange-provided discounts or promotions, and related partner information displayed through Walloat.
This Disclosure supplements the Walloat Terms of Service and, where applicable, the Walloat Payback Terms.
2. Partner Links and Commercial Relationships
Certain exchange links, buttons, signup paths, referral codes, or other access methods provided through Walloat may be partner or affiliate routes.
If you open an account, connect an eligible account, or conduct eligible activity through such a route, the relevant exchange or partner may attribute that activity to Walloat.
A partner relationship is a commercial relationship. It does not mean that the exchange is owned, operated, controlled, guaranteed, or independently endorsed by Walloat.
3. How Walloat May Receive Compensation
Walloat may receive compensation from a partner exchange when users complete eligible actions under the applicable partner program.
Depending on the partner arrangement, compensation may be connected to eligible registration, verified partner attribution, trading activity, campaign participation, or other partner-defined events.
The amount, calculation method, eligibility rules, and timing of compensation may differ by exchange, product, account type, jurisdiction, campaign, and partner agreement.
Walloat's commercial compensation terms are not necessarily the same as the user-facing benefit rate shown through Walloat.
4. Types of Benefits Shown on Walloat
Walloat may present several different types of exchange-related benefits. They should not be treated as interchangeable.
| Benefit type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Exchange-provided fee discount or rebate | A fee benefit applied, credited, or otherwise provided by the exchange under the exchange's own rules. Walloat does not settle this amount unless explicitly stated. |
| Exchange promotion or bonus | A campaign, reward, voucher, bonus, or similar benefit administered by the exchange and subject to the exchange's eligibility conditions. |
| Walloat Payback | A separate Walloat benefit that may be available only after Walloat verifies eligible partner attribution and applicable settlement data. It is governed by the Walloat Payback Terms. |
| Signup or account-access benefit | A benefit or eligibility condition associated with a designated Walloat partner signup route, referral code, account-linking method, or other exchange-specific process. |
The existence of one benefit type does not guarantee that another benefit type is available.
5. Walloat Payback and Retained Compensation
Where Walloat Payback is active, Walloat may use a portion of compensation received under an eligible partner arrangement to fund the Payback amount made available to the user.
Walloat may retain part of partner compensation as revenue. A published Walloat Payback rate is the user-facing Payback amount under the applicable Payback policy and should not be interpreted as the total compensation Walloat receives from the partner.
Partner compensation may exist under some arrangements even when a specific Walloat Payback rate is not active or available. Availability depends on the relevant exchange, verified partner terms, account attribution, product, and applicable policy.
Any Payback amount, calculation basis, settlement process, exclusions, correction rules, and payout conditions are governed by the Walloat Payback Terms and the applicable published Payback policy.
6. Verification Before Publication
Walloat does not intend to publish estimated partner benefit rates as if they were verified rates.
A quantified exchange discount, rebate, promotion, or Walloat Payback rate should be published only after Walloat has verified the applicable partner conditions and the information necessary to present that rate.
Until verification is complete, Walloat may show a benefit or partner relationship as onboarding, terms pending, under verification, paused, unavailable, or another non-active status.
A pending or non-active status is not a promise that the benefit will become available.
7. Eligibility, UID, and Partner Attribution
Eligibility for a partner benefit may depend on successful partner attribution.
Where UID registration is used, submitting an exchange UID does not itself prove that the account is attributed to Walloat or that Payback is available.
Walloat may need to verify the exchange, UID, partner route, account status, eligible products, trading activity, and other applicable conditions before confirming a benefit.
Duplicate, conflicting, unauthorized, or unverifiable UID submissions may be rejected, restricted, or excluded from benefits.
8. Existing Accounts and Account Reconnection
Whether an existing exchange account can receive a Walloat partner benefit is exchange-specific.
Some exchanges or partner programs may support account reconnection, partner-code linking, or another attribution process for an existing account. Others may require a new eligible account or may not support reassignment at all.
Walloat will present existing-account eligibility only when the applicable exchange-specific conditions have been verified.
Do not assume that an existing account qualifies merely because the exchange is listed on Walloat.
9. Comparison and Presentation Principles
Walloat aims to distinguish commercial benefit information from other service information so users can understand what is being compared.
When Walloat presents partner exchange benefits, it may separately identify:
- partner or availability status;
- exchange-provided fee discounts or rebates;
- exchange promotions or signup benefits;
- Walloat Payback availability and rate where active;
- existing-account eligibility;
- exchange-specific conditions or eligible products;
- the date or status of verification where available.
A higher displayed benefit does not mean that an exchange is safer, more reliable, more suitable, or otherwise better for a particular user.
10. Contextual Disclosure Near Partner Routes
Where reasonably appropriate, Walloat may place a short disclosure such as “Partner link,” “Affiliate disclosure,” “Partner relationship,” or an equivalent localized notice near a partner signup route, benefit page, or other commercial call to action.
Such a short disclosure is intended to alert users that Walloat may have an economic relationship with the relevant exchange.
This full Disclosure provides additional detail about that relationship and should be read together with any exchange-specific benefit conditions.
11. Changes, Pauses, and Availability
Partner programs and exchange terms may change without Walloat controlling those changes.
An exchange or partner may change commission structures, eligibility rules, supported products, account-attribution methods, campaign terms, fee benefits, regional availability, or API and reporting methods.
Walloat may therefore update, pause, restrict, or remove a partner route or benefit when conditions change or can no longer be verified.
A previously displayed benefit is not guaranteed to remain available for future activity.
12. No Endorsement or Investment Recommendation
A commercial relationship does not mean that Walloat guarantees or independently recommends an exchange for every user.
Walloat does not represent that a partner exchange is the safest, best, cheapest, or most appropriate exchange for you merely because Walloat may receive compensation from that exchange.
Partner benefits, comparisons, and access information are not individualized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
You should evaluate exchange risk, custody practices, fees, product availability, legal eligibility, and other relevant factors independently.
13. Third-Party Exchange Terms and User Responsibility
Your account and transactions with a partner exchange remain subject to that exchange's own terms, privacy policy, fee schedule, KYC requirements, regional restrictions, product rules, and promotional conditions.
Walloat does not control whether an exchange accepts your account, maintains a benefit, processes a trade, applies a fee discount, or changes its partner program.
You are responsible for confirming the current exchange conditions before opening an account, trading, transferring assets, or relying on a promotion.
14. Changes to This Disclosure
Walloat may update this Disclosure when partner arrangements, compensation models, Exchange Benefits, Walloat Payback, presentation practices, or applicable legal requirements change.
Material changes will be identified through an updated version and date and communicated where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
Where an exchange-specific economic relationship or benefit requires a more specific disclosure, Walloat may provide that information on the relevant benefit page or signup flow.
