Bybit · Referral changes and account linking
The dedicated help page describes adding a missing Affiliate code within 14 days. Other signup guidance differs, so check the menu and eligibility with Bybit.
Check your eligibility
- Main account registered within 14 days, with no existing Affiliate or referral relationship.
- Affiliate codes only; not ordinary user referral codes. Market maker and institutional accounts are excluded, and regional restrictions apply.
How to proceed
- On the Bybit website, open Profile → Account → Account Info → Join an Affiliate’s Community.
- If available, enter WALLOAT and your reason, review the disclaimer and submit. If the menu is absent, confirm eligibility with Bybit support.

Check the result
Check the application result in Account Info. An Affiliate ID may be hidden by privacy settings, so absence of an ID alone does not prove the account is unlinked.
Before you proceed: A registered code cannot be cancelled or changed under the documented procedure. Exceptions for accounts over 14 days old or with an existing referrer are not confirmed.
After the exchange confirms your connection
Register your own exchange UID with Walloat and complete attribution verification. UID registration alone does not change your referrer or confirm Payback eligibility. See the exchange benefits page for the applicable Payback conditions.
Keep your account intact while checking eligibility. Do not delete an account, transfer KYC or move funds just to follow this guide. Never share passwords, API secrets or verification codes with support.
What about Identity Transfer?
Bybit’s KYC transfer is a separate feature, not a same-UID referral change. Assets and referral codes do not transfer; withdrawal and Fiat restrictions and reward impacts apply.
